Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

How It Works

7 Day Full Refund/Return Policy


Duration of Policy: This policy is valid for 7 days from the date of your purchase. If 7 days have elapsed since your purchase, we regret that we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

Eligibility Criteria: To qualify for a refund or exchange, the item must be unused, unactivated, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, including all accessories provided with the device. If any accessories are opened or used, the cost of these items will be deducted from the refund amount.

Return Request Process: To initiate a return, please email info@smartestphonedeals.co.za with your full name, sales order number, make and model of the device, and the IMEI number. Attach a copy of your receipt or proof of purchase to this email. We will respond with instructions on how to proceed.


Refunds:

  • Inspection: Upon receipt of the returned item, we will conduct a physical and software diagnostic inspection.

  • Notification: You will be notified via email about the status of your refund after the inspection.

  • Refund Process: Eligible refunds will be processed via electronic funds transfer to your bank account. You must provide your bank details to Smartest Phone Deals for this transfer.

  • Refund Duration: The refund may take up to 7 working days to process from the date of receipt at our premises.


Late or Missing Refunds:

  • If you have not received your refund, first recheck your bank account, then contact your bank as there may be a processing delay. If the refund is still missing, please contact us at info@smartestphonedeals.co.za.


Sale Items: Items purchased on sale are not eligible for a refund.

Exchanges: We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. To request an exchange for the same item, email us at info@smartestphonedeals.co.za.


Shipping for Returns/Exchanges:

  • You are responsible for covering your own shipping costs for returning the item. These costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

  • For exchanges, you will be notified once the replacement item has been shipped.


Liability: Smartest Phone Deals is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.


Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.

3-Month Warranty with Smartest Phone Deals

Our Policy

Warranty Duration and Activation:

  • Our warranty extends for a period of 3 months, starting from the date of purchase. This applies specifically to iPhones sold under Smartest Phone Deals.


Coverage Scope:

  • This warranty covers any manufacturing defects that may arise during the warranty period. It is limited to faults that are a result of the manufacturing process.

Exclusions from Warranty:

  • The following are not covered under this warranty:

    • Software-related issues.

    • Damages caused by liquids. (Note: This exclusion applies irrespective of the manufacturer’s claims about water resistance).

    • Physical damages, including those resulting from accidents or misuse.

    • Battery degradation or other forms of normal wear and tear.


Conditions that Void the Warranty:

  • The warranty will be considered null and void in the following circumstances:

    • Any form of liquid or physical damage.

    • Misuse or abuse of the device.

    • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations carried out by third parties.

    • External modifications that affect the device’s functioning, including the application of 'decorative' materials.

    • Downloading illegal software.

    • Tampering with the device’s IMEI number.

    • Discrepancies between the device’s internal data and the provided proof of purchase.


Additional Notes:

  • Smartest Phone Deals is not responsible for any missing accessories (e.g., covers, chargers, screen protectors). Customers are advised to remove these items before sending their devices for repair or exchange under the warranty.

  • We may use approved third-party parts for warranty repairs when necessary. These parts meet our high standards and ensure the continued effectiveness of your warranty.

  • Please note that repairs under warranty may take up to 7 working days to complete from date received.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

By purchasing a product from Smartest Phone Deals, you hereby acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions of our 3-month warranty and 7-day refund/exchange policy. Please ensure that you have read and understood these terms, as they outline your rights and obligations with respect to returns, exchanges, and warranty claims.
